Piggy Cookies...A recipe that every female in my family has fought over having their own copy of for generations. These delightful little deserts were found every Christmas ready for decorating by the younger generation and rarely did anyone walk away without frosting on them somewhere. Our own family has a pig cookie cutter that we have passed down to use for cutting these yummy cookies that will disappear before you can pull the next batch out.
Ingredients
3 & 2/3 cup Flour
2 & 1/2tsp baking POWDER
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup Butter
1 & 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4tsp milk
STEP 1:
Mix Flour, Baking Powder, & Salt in a bowl
Step 2:
Mix softened butter, egg, vanilla, milk & sugar in a separate bowl
Step 3:
Slowly combine dry into wet then chill for at least 1 hour.
Step 4:
Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick and use favorite cookie cutter. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-8 minutes.
Step 5:
Let cool, frost & decorate
